TEMA TRAINING
City employees, local emergency officials, and volunteers in the community participated in disaster training conducted by TEMA.
TEMA is the Tennessee Emergency Management Agency. TEMA's goal is to protect the public from disasters and emergencies. To learn more about TEMA, visit their Website at www.tnema.org.
Participants learned the proper procedure to follow in the event of a disaster. This includes knowing the proper chain of command, search and rescue, emergency medical, emergency access, public information, and the ability to conduct general assessments of damage.
